Our Experience
Fantastic walk with a well maintained climb to the lake damn then an easy circuit around the lake. Absolutely gorgeous views year round., There are many options to extend the walk, including a steep ascent to Col du Portetet.
Notes
Make a reservation for Chalet refuge de L'Oule which is right on the damn. They often do barbecue and other tasty food which you can enjoy on the terrace and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Its also possible to ski down here in the winter.
