Our Experience
This walk is nestled in the heart of one of the prettiest parts of the Pyrenees – the national park of Neouvielle. After leaving the car park, you follow a chain of breathtaking lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. The trailhead starts at a fairly high altitude so the walk's not too challenging with minimal ascent and maximum views! This ones so good we've done it several times in summer and winter.
Notes
Néouvielle National Nature Reserve is a popular area due to its beauty and ease of access so can be quite busy during the summer season. If you're looking for solitude this may not be the place for you.
